I’m such a bad blogger. I feel like I spend so much time at work on the computer, that I don’t want to jump on again at home. Silly.
Netflix appears to be down today. Which sucks… You would think that a company that announces that it’s going to be increasing subscriber’s plans by 5-10 dollars, could at least keep it’s service going. Egg on their faces to be sure. I’m not necessarily complaining about the increase, I’m not happy with it, but I’m going to pay it because it’s still cheaper than cable. definitely going to rethink the hulu subscription now though.
But if they think I am going to pay for a dedicated steaming online plan then they need to up their game. My streaming Netflix goes down far to often. I kind of put up with it because it was an add on to the dvds in the mail. But for sure I’ll have to start complaining if this poor service keeps up.
Work, is well work. Taken on a lot of responsibility and doing pretty well. Guest scores are highest they’ve ever been and the staff is responding well to me. I am however, operating under the assumption that at the end of August/September I will quite possibly be out of a job. Though they re-assure me that I am a valuable part of the company, I am realistic enough to know where the numbers are. The hotel can’t afford both myself and my counterpart when she returns from her project. And if they’ve already hired someone in sales, then that leaves me SOL. Time to look for other options to keep on the back burner, just in case.
Cleaned up the garage! Proud of that. I got a heavy storage rack at Costco for 60 bucks and have all of our camping gear organized and stored on it. I’m thinking I might get one more rack with the next paycheck, that or an actual work bench. That way I can organize all my tools and stuff. I now have my car parked in the garage, which is awesome. Now I just need to get a working garage remote.
Cats are working out great. I splurged and got a 7 foot cat tree with different, levels and hidey holes etc. These two are definitely climbers and I figured that if I wanted to preserve the furniture, then I better just suck it up and get them something to play on. It’s worked out well for the most part. It’s not the prettiest of things, but it makes the cats happy. Now I just need to rearrange the furniture a little to make it work.
