Economic Growth, well slightly

So I asked for a raise today. I know it seems like an insane time to be asking for money, given the state of the economy, the state of the leisure business, the fact that they are cutting jobs, hours and trying to cut every corner possible. But I asked to be brought up to the next round number. And though I didn’t get that much, I did get a whole quarter. That’s right a quarter an hour raise, a whole ten dollars a week, that’s a whole 500 or so dollars a year. Yay me. Lol.

It does bode well for the future though. I get another raise automatically in November for being here a year.  If in this struggling economy, we can all get a head a quarter at a time. Then maybe there is hope after all. First it’s a quarter, then it’s 50 Cents, then it’s a dollar.  Baby steps right?
