Mother’s Day

Saturday was Mother’s Day in the Schmidt household, (we celebrated with Mexico this year.)

It was a great day. The three of us spent it together. I had breakfast in bed, a nice card and a bag of nice smelling soaps and gels. And out for Sushi. Erich did really well this year, very well in deed.

So what else is going on right now? Nothing much. I still trying not to be a shut in but its so freaking hot outside. I need to go a play date or two so Amelia doesn’t get stir crazy.

Oh, we went to the movies the other day… Saw the new Harold and Kumar Movie.. It was HILARIOUS. I wasn’t a big fan of the first one, and this one started out with dubious bathroom humor but the rest of it so funny, i laughed until I couldn’t breathe. I definitely recommend it.

Other things on the Burner… Dresden Dolls Concert in two weeks.. and an interesting event at the Venue of Scottsdale that we managed to get VIP tickets for through an old friend of mine.. woohoo. (Once again Jen if you are reading this, you my dear are a goddess)

So that is about it. The baby is starting to throw a fit so I must leave this post picture-less…

  1. Wow. It’s been since Mothers Day that I last read. That actually gives me a concept of how long my computer has been going in and out of living. ::sigh::
