Then and Gone

Thanks Giving is officially over.  There is certainly one thing I can say about my family, come hell or high water we will always support each other.  It’s been over a year since I talking to my cousins and seeing them again erases all the time apart. It also opened my eyes and gave staying in touch a greater importance than it did before.  We all seem to be living similar lives, echos of eachother, it about time I made myself available for support.

The babies birthday was a hoot. She was shoving cake in her face with both hands.

Erich has the laptop and I am desperatly missing my desktop blogging program. Takes less work to create a post with pictures, so for the next few weeks expect less photos.

I’m working part time in the Jewelery Store and selling their old stock online.  Trying to generate some extra income because the anesthesiologist from Amelia’s birth just decided to send us a bill for 2600 dollars, only 800 of which the insurance company is will to cover.  They sent it 12 days short of being more than  a year so we can’t argue that point for all those people who were suddenly joining in choruses of “they can’t do that”. Well they did.

I have to find some work clothes somehow now that I’m working. In our mad dash packing to get out here, I didn’t forsee working for some reason.

The baby is doing great. Walking, talking and trying to eat big people food, rather hard with two teeth.

I think I may head to the ocean tomorrow after hitting the bank with a paycheck deposit.  Give the baby a little sea air.

  1. I wish I was there to watch Ms. Amelia shove cake in her mouth. That sounds adorably hilarious.

I wish I could solve your financial problems. Can we locate the pot at the end of the rainbow and distribute it?

    Kisses!
